Obiejesi Chinazom battles cancer and needs your help and support.
Chinazom is a graduate of marketing from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko,
Anambra State, Nigeria. Like many young ladies, Chinazom was making her future
plans, getting the most out of her life when suddenly she was stopped by a
terrible ailment. She was diagnosed of brain tumour in 2011 and since then has
been going from one hospital to another. She has been subjected to a battery of tests and
treatments
with no improvement, and growing
weaker by the day.
By January 2013, she was taken to the
University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH) where doctors had advised her to
undergo surgery in an Indian Hospital.
The amiable 27 year old from Anambra
State said that her life took a dramatic turn for the worst after the growth on
her head was diagnosed as cancer. Chinazom who comes from a humble background
said she had been a huge burden to her poor parents and needs your financial
assistance.
We’ve raised some money to pay for the
medical tests and some of the patient costs including drugs, but we still need about
N5million. All we need is the money to pay for the surgery. The money will be
spent on patient travel expenses, hospital bills, accommodation, feeding and
sundry expenses for the period of stay in India.
But we can’t do this without your
support. She needs your help to have access to surgery abroad.
Your contribution can make a big difference and no amount is too small. Every
donation counts and will help Chinazom undergo surgery. Your support will enable
her bounce back to life, regain her self-esteem and live her dreams.
Attended by her elder sister, Obi
Adanna, Chinazom appealed to Nigerians and well spirited individuals to come to
her aid. For Obi Chinazom, her only wish is that she will be able to raise the
N5 million in order to have surgery in India. She said the surgery will enable
her bounce back to life. She is also nursing the desire of serving her country
by undergoing the one year mandatory Youth Service, which the cancer has
prevented her from doing since her graduation.
Also, her prayer is that President Goodluck Jonathan, the Vice President
Namadi Sambo, her Anambra State governor Peter Obi, members of the National
Assembly and well-meaning Nigerians
would heed to her call and help her raise the money.
Chinazom added that the intervention of fellow Nigerians would enable her
regain her self-esteem and live her dreams.
