Breaking: Abuja Bound Medview Airline Makes Precautionary Landing


A Medview aircraft en route Abuja after having just taken –off from Lagos made a precautionary return back to Lagos and landed safely with all 99 persons on board including 5 crew members.
A passenger on board the plane who doesn’t want to be mentioned said the plane developed fault and the pilot immediately returned to Lagos and called on the Aviation authorities to check airlines before take -off.
“I really cannot tell what happened, at some point we said our last prayers but God in his Mercies helped us to land safely” she noted.
“We cannot continue to manage or compromise safety, I am too scared to fly again in Nigeria” she added.
Confirming the incident, Mr Yakubu Dati, Coordinating Spokesperson, Aviation Parastatals in a statement to Newswirengr noted that the airline, a B737 with Registration No 5NBPB which took off at 9:12am landed safely at 9.17am with no casualty.
He said the NCAA and the AIPB have already commenced investigation to ascertain the cause of the air return.
