Jonathan Condoles With Family Of Late Delegate To National Confab

President Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with the family of late Alhaji Hamma Misau, a late delegate to the on-going national conference.In a statement issued today in Abuja by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, Jonathan also extended his condolences to the Bauchi State Government, and the Chairman and delegates to the National Conference.
Abati said the President urged all delegates to the conference to honour late Misau by rededicating themselves to work towards strengthening national unity, promote peace, security, political stability and faster development in the country.
He said that the President commiserated with members of the Association of Retired Police Officers on the passing away of Misau, who was one of their representatives at the conference.
“The President joins them in mourning Hamma Misau who patriotically served his nation, state and community throughout his 34 years of distinguished service in the Nigeria Police Force.
“Even in retirement, Alhaji Misau continued to be actively engaged with efforts to move the nation forward as shown by his participation at the National Conference.
“The President prays that Almighty Allah will receive Misau’s soul and grant him eternal rest in Paradise,’’ he said.
Misau died on Thursday and was laid to rest in his home state, Bauchi. (NAN)
