Foreign Affairs Minister meets Republic of Niger's Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Bahrain, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, met today with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and African Integration of the Republic of Niger, Mohamed Bazoum, on the sidelines of the 41st Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah. The Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further bolster relations with African countries, reviewing the outstanding bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Niger as well as the means of bolstering these ties at all levels. The Minister of Foreign Affairs extended an invitation to Mr. Mohamed Bazoum to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain. The meeting also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest. (IY) (BNA)
