Oby Ezekwesili detained, later released by SSS in Abuja

Former Minister of Education and #bringbackourgirls convener Obi Ezekwesili, was this morning detained by SSS agents at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, as she tried to leave the country for London.

Mrs Ezekwesili immediately took to twitter to announce her detention. She said she was heading to London to appear on the BBC Hardtalk programme but was prevented from boarding her flight by security operatives who confiscated her passport. She was later released and allowed to board her 8a.m British Airways flight. See her earlier tweets...
