Another Bomb blast Hits Maiduguri market

An explosion has occurred at the Maiduguri market near the Power Holding Company (PHCN) building.
The explosion was heard at about 8:20 a.m.
Many casualties may be recorded as the area is usually a crowded commercial centre.
An officer of the State Security Service confirmed the explosion some minutes after it occurred.
Emergency officials are said to be on their way to the explosion scene.
